Bonjour from sunny southern Saskatchewan!! Spring is springing....squirrels, snow geese returning, all things spring beginning again - I hope everyone has survived the winter in one piece - things are good here!!!

I've been recording a new album - it is entitled "Flora Vista" - this week the first single will be released - it's a song called "Let the Love In"....a southwestern ghost story/love story/road trip complete with slot machines, big skies, and confessionals....

I will be playing solo acoustic dates in various locations across Canada and beyond this year - I'll be posting the dates as well as other groovy stuff at www.jaysemko.com and all of the various social media sites...

and I will be blogging here regularly....see you soon!!!

Hey friends - I'm currently in southern California - big storms and wildfires around here lately..... things look pretty nice back home in Saskatchewan right now.....I have almost completed "Flora Vista" - very excited about the new album, release date TBA...... in the meantime, you can listen to  "Sending Love (part 1)" at www.jaysemko.com.  I'm playing a couple of concerts on the west coast this autumn....more dates will be announced soon, and........some big news.......I am busy writing my first book - autobiographical, and unabashedly honest, it may surprise some people, and hopefully inspire some too.........
 ......and I'm looking forward to celebrating my birthday on August 28th..........

Hey folks ...
